Unleashing Hope: The Impact of EENP’s Service Dog Training Program

Once a puppy enters the ABEL program, they have to demonstrate proficiency in training and be in near perfect health to graduate. Of the puppies that enter, almost half are released from the process because they don’t meet the necessary requirements. Released dogs are able to be given to waitlisted applicants who may not fit the requirements to qualify for a service dog, but could still benefit from a well-trained dog. Some dogs who have not yet been paired with their applicants remain at the office, waiting for a match.
