Nick Baumstein is a senior from Brooklyn, NY, majoring in Journalism and Spanish. He has experience in both written and video storytelling, with an emphasis on culture, history, and local politics. He hopes to pursue a career as a journalist in New York.
Annika Duneja
Annika Duneja is a senior from Northern Virginia (D.C. suburbs), majoring in Journalism and Business with a minor in French. She’s worked across many areas of journalism including print, social media, tv and online. Annika hopes to pursue a career in business journalism.
Allison Helms
Allison Helms is a senior from Charlotte, N.C., majoring in media and journalism. Allison has experience in photojournalism, video editing and marketing. Allison hopes to pursue a career in the multimedia journalism field following graduation.
Laney Currin
Laney Currin is a senior from Winston-Salem, N.C., majoring in journalism and English & comparative literature with a concentration in creative writing, with an Italian minor. She has experience writing for multiple publications and in various journalistic styles. Laney hopes to pursue an MFA in creative writing after graduation.

Yu Xi Ng is a senior from Muar, Malaysia, majoring in Psychology and Media and Journalism. She has experience in front-end and back-end web development, UI/UX design, UX research and video. Yu Xi hopes to pursue a career in the gaming industry as an user experience designer and researcher.

Emily Gessner is a senior from Raleigh, N.C., majoring in journalism and English with a concentration in creative writing. She has experience in print journalism and online journalism, editorial work, magazine production and editing. Emily hopes to pursue a career in publishing.

Regan Rhymes is a senior from Kernersville, N.C., studying journalism and Spanish interpretation at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has produced a wide variety of stories using audio, print and graphic design. She hopes to work in radio after graduation.
Hailey Stone
Hailey Stone is a senior from Monterey Bay, C.A., studying media and journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her family currently resides in Lake Norman, N.C., and she is interested in audio journalism and storytelling. After graduation, Hailey hopes to pursue a career in travel reporting or podcast production.

Lola Oliverio is a senior from Carrboro, N.C., majoring in journalism and communications with a concentration in rhetoric. She has extensive experience in journalistic writing and editing and hopes to pursue a career in either health or music journalism.
Oanh Nguyen
Oanh Nguyen is a senior from Durham, N.C., double majoring in Information Science (B.S.) and Media & Journalism on the Journalism Track (B.A.). They posess a background in UX design and research, including mixed research methods, technical programming, and boots-on-the-ground investigative journalism. As a budding technologist, they hope to carve a future in the intersection of technology, society, and legal policy.

Medha Nair is a senior from Cary, N.C., double majoring in media and journalism and anthropology. She has experience in feature writing and current event coverage. Medha hopes to pursue an international career in journalism and writing.
Caroline King
Caroline King is a senior majoring in Media and Journalism. She is from Rutherfordton, N.C., where she interned at The Daily Courier and fell in love with reporting. She has since written for The Daily Tar Heel, The Daily Progress and now works for Spectrum News as a multimedia journalist.
Aaliyah Mitchell
Aaliyah Mitchell is a senior from Jacksonville, N.C., majoring in Media & Journalism with a minor in Hispanic Studies. She is a bilingual journalist with on-air experience anchoring and reporting in both English and Spanish, with skills in broadcast storytelling, photography, and community-focused coverage of immigration, culture, and local issues.

Corrie Kelleigh is a senior journalism major from Wilmington, N.C. She holds a certificate in business journalism and focuses on data analysis, market trends, the geopolitical economy, and finance. She hopes to work as a data analysis reporter for a legacy media organization.
Luna Hayes
Luna Hayes is a senior from Wilkesboro, N.C., double-majoring in Journalism and Communication Studies with a minor in Japanese. She has experience in graphic design, motion graphics, marketing and social media management. Luna hopes to attend law school after working in communications design for a couple of years post-graduation.

I’m a senior from Lynbrook, NY, majoring in journalism. I’m experienced in sports communication, reporting in both writing and video/broadcast. I’m hoping to pursue a career in broadcast productions or communications.
Madeline Hiteshue
Madeline Hiteshue is from Mooresville, North Carolina, and is majoring in Media and Journalism with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations, along with a minor in History. She will report on the Winter Olympics in Milan through the Hussman School of Journalism and Media. Madeline hopes to pursue a career in sideline reporting, combining storytelling, sports, and live broadcasting.

Kyle Oliver is a senior from Charlotte, N.C., majoring in Media & Journalism. He has experience in Broadcast Journalism with TV news writing and reporting but also shows interest in Public Relations, as he has worked on media driven scenarios. He hopes to pursue a career in entertainment interviewing or Celebrity PR.

She has experience in writing, interviewing, reporting, photography, videography, color grading, audio editing, control room/in-field equipment, social media and graphic design. Dallia hopes to pursue a career as a long-form multimedia reporter on the regional/international scale.

Nicole hopes to pursue a career in Sports Public Relations, specifically in the world of college or professional basketball.

She is passionate about using writing and storytelling to shed light on social issues and current events, amplify voices often left unheard, and ignite social change.
