Unleashing Hope: The Impact of EENP’s Service Dog Training Program

The EENP office in Hillsborough is a repurposed house. In the mix of the doggy daycare are reminders of the true purpose of the organization, chew toys, wheelchairs, and service dog vests. The dogs are trained to help with conditions ranging from diabetes, tourette’s, pott’s, and epilepsy to autism and chronic pain. The ABEL trainers have recently learned how to teach the dogs deep pressure therapy, which has been used to help stop seizures and ease discomfort.
