For Bahamian Frank Knowles, the hardest part about life after Hurricane Dorian is the separation of his family. Reporter Jilly Kuehn traveled to both Hope Town, Bahamas and Morehead City, North Carolina to hear their story of survival, perseverance, and testament to the importance of family.

Jilly Kuehn is a junior studying broadcast journalism. Last summer she interned at News Channel 5 Nashville and recently traveled to Marsh Harbor, Bahamas to cover hurricane relief efforts. She hopes to find a job allowing her to tell meaningful stories of others that inspire.
