During UNC’s early history, students of color had to fight to attend the university. Court cases like Brown v. Board of Education gave them the irrevocable right to enroll, and policies like affirmative action sought to increase their enrollment. Now, a court case in Washington is threatening that race conscious policy. Reporters Brianna Atkinson and Leslie Guzman spoke with students and faculty members on campus to hear their thoughts on affirmative action.
