What are kids rights in the content posted about them online? Risks of a published childhood

Many parents share about their children on social media. In addition to sharing these childhood milestones and memories online, parents are creating a digital footprint that will follow kids for the rest of their lives. So do kids have rights in the content being shared about them online? 

In the U.S., a child’s legal rights against oversharing parents are very limited. However, experts agree, kid-approved boundaries should be leading the conversation around the culture of online sharing.
