Women in North Carolina are trying to break their way into the newest, male-dominated business: the cannabis industry. Trevor Stevenson talks to some local female business owners destigmatizing the plant and claiming a piece of the up-and-coming field.

Trevor Stevenson is a senior from Concord, NC double-majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Communication. He serves as President of Harmonyx A Cappella and Treasurer of Carolina Association of Black Journalists. He is currently an intern for the TODAY Show out of the DC Bureau. Trevor aims to be a producer for a national news network or make a career in screenwriting.
