Number of N.C. Homeschools continues to rise

The older all-boys Classical Conversations class works on their science experiment, as tutor Neil Shenvi shows them how to make crystals from salt. When asked why so many parents are making the change to homeschooling in the state, Alicia Clark said, “Many families want to be able to move at the pace their children need academically, whether that means offering them greater challenges or slowing the pace in a particular subject.”
