Rural Healthcare: “A neighbor helping neighbor thing”

At the start of 2018, Scotland Neck’s hospital became the fifth critical access hospital closure in the past five years. Almost two years later, residents reflect on the loss of their community hospital and the strain it has put on area EMTs.
