Maryam, a senior from Cary, North Carolina, is a broadcast journalism major. Maryam is currently an anchor and producer for Carolina Now and a reporter for Carolina Week. She has also interned at ABC11, as a news operation intern, and is a former reporter with the Daily Tar Heel. In the future, Maryam plans to pursue a career in broadcast media.
