Ernie Frankel: From Chapel Hill to Hollywood

Ernie Frankel has been a storyteller since his school days at UNC Chapel Hill. After serving in the Marines during WWII, he moved out west to Los Angeles and began his career as a screenwriter and producer in Hollywood. He made his name in writing legal and crime dramas such as Perry Mason and Mod Squad.

Colleen Brown is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel, majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in creative writing. She is from Raleigh, NC, and has interned with Buchanan Public Relations in Philadelphia. Colleen hopes to work as an in-house broadcaster for a professional sports team.
